Kingdom Come Deliverance

5 posts in this topic

I've been following Kingdom Come Deliverance for a while on Steam - it will be released on Feb 13th 2018 - but I will likely wait a long time for it as its $70ish price is way too steep for me. It is a realistic RPG set in 15th Century Europe (wonder if there will be Darklands comparisons).

I was just reading a PC gamer article about it - http://www.pcgamer.com/best-indie-games-2018/ - and it has an interesting (and amusing) ironman-type save system: in order to save the game you must drink a swig of brandy so if you save the game too much you will get drunk  ... (though I wonder if this is a joke on PC gamer's part ;) ).

I've also been watching this game for quite a while. I'll also be waiting for a hefty sale and to see how it shakes out in the real world. I like the anti save scumming though! :b:

Just bought this in the GoG sale. Did anyone else play it?

Thinking about wrapping up my modded Skyrim game and giving this a go.

Very good game despite some technical weaknesses which does not detract from the pleasure of the game, it is a very good RPG
