Hmm, I think I should step out of this one.

 

 

I looked up SimCoaster on Wikipedia, and the answer was in the content of the article. I'm reasonably confident that I wouldn't have gotten it without some very obvious clues, because my exposure to that particular title is very limited. I'd forgotten it even existed.

I only know the name because it came in a Sim collection pack I bought. I mostly played Roller Coaster Tycoon.

 

Clue 1: This strategy/simulation game came out in 1989.
