23,63 can be raised but do we need this base?

When we'll have finished with Hive and Gaians, we'll have 29 bases +1 to be founded west of Morgan Mines = 30

Do we fix a limit or do we grow beyond 30?

I would be reluctant to take Gaia's Landing. If we can stop Lal's vendetta, and get treaty or pact, it's more useful as cash cow. The Human Genome Project is fine but we'll soon have enough food sats to allow a few more workers into specialists. I wouldn't want to have a land border with Lal.

Lal will have possession of a PLANET BUSTER next turn.

Yang in 6 turns. We won't be able to terminate this production, better to sign truce before.

And us in 8 turns.

2221-start

- Lady Deirdre came talking seething.

She wanted us to attack Lal; we refused.

She demanded Homo Superior to end the vendetta; we refused.

Vendetta continues.

- a Hive fusion tactical killed our A8

- a University chaos copter killed a Hive police guard

Battle plans:

We'll take Water Garden (Gaians) and Sea Hive (Yang)

Planification:

We have enough units to end our wars. We'll keep on upgrading our F8s on the western side in case Lal attacks.

Major production efforts for the next 10-15 years will be on Secret projects and the planet buster, and on food/energy sats after that.

Morgan Shipbuilding (and soon Morgan Bank) will produce 1 seaformer/turn (they'll be upgraded immediately to clean because we need a ton of them for all the captured sea bases).

Rushing efforts on genejack factories where needed for the SPs, and on urgent production in captured bases.

When Cloning Vats finished, switching to Power and trying to get Santiago's alliance.

We can grow more bases.

It is becoming too micromanaging so I would propose even more to reduce report load. Maybe we only need highlights of the turn. Only what you consider most important, and to keep it interesting to read.

I'll check Hive status, but last time Yang was able to cooperate.

The plan for 10-15 turns is very good. I have no more comments at this time. :)

We are already second in number of votes. CEO Morgan could be elected Planetary Governor.

Zakharov could support us for 311 EC or files on Advanced Spaceflight and he has 85 votes

Santiago wants 2065 EC !!! and she can provide only 42 votes. Anyway we have no such reserves at the moment.

Well, actually during voting it is different. Probing gives:

Santiago wants 2750 EC !!!

Zakharov 415 EC or 3 technologies (Adv Space, Orbital Space and Homo Superior)

Anyway, Miriam and Santiago support Lal and he would have over 100 votes more than us.

There are other votings possible. I think we can place more attention to it, so far we neglected council meetings. For starters I would salvage Unity fusion core...

Unity Fusion Core is only Lal and Zakharov NAY. But Lal holds executive veto and he wants 3420 EC for changing his mind. Considering we get only 500 EC and the banks would yield (7x500) = 3500 EC. this means he wants 97.7 % of the credits. And we pay it efectively giving gifts to other factions. Lal should be a morganite... :)

Global Trade Pact.

Lal and Deirdre are for it, so no problem with veto, but with our third vote we loose 3:4.

Only Santiago (1454 EC) and Zakharov (1087 EC) would change their minds.

Considering, that we currently have 125 EC/turn from commerce, the doubling would pay during 8-9 turns. Worth considering imho to bribe the cheapest bidder. This may also change and we maybe pay nothing in some future.

Let me check one more thing...

-----

Yes, there is some other possibility. Zakharov can agree to end vendetta with Spartans and then Santiago votes YEA. We can get Global Trade Pact for no payment this turn.

What do we do?

Buying the trade pact may backfire if some of the AIs declare on us again. I'm against it for now. If we pact with either Santiago or Zakharov it may get cheaper.

we can get it without paying - asking Zakharov to sign truce with Santiago.

It's in our interest to prevent two of our friends from fighting one against the other.

If global trade pact is now free, we'll get more out of it then the others.

I would approve.

MY 2221

Zakharov agreed to sign blood truce with Santiago.

We shortly talked with Santiago about Global Trade Pact, but her price turned out to be too high. But during voting she supported the idea.

How about after silksteel armor unit prototype is complete, to design a new cruiser?

(13)-<4>-6*2 AAA, Deep Radar

name: MNS [Jeneba]

The name is after assistant's name, but other could be found.

And how about a better armoured probe cruiser?

Design will be put. I suggest not putting deep radar but letting an open space for future "clean".

As for the name, it wouldn't be serious to mix CEO Morgan private life with the naming of armed forces. :D

Proposition would be "MNS Adam Smith"

And how about a better armoured probe cruiser?

0-4-6*2

That wouldn't help. Anything enemy could kill it, the least armed units have now chaos guns.

But, with the Maritime Control Center, our probes don't have to stay in the open sea; they can travel from base to base before striking deep.

Morgan Transport and Morgan Solarfex need Centauri Preserve to reach their full production potential. Morgan Construction too but it would be so far off the mark to put a genejack factory there that we could just use the base later as a cash-cow by killing waves of attacking worms. (or we just avoid triggering sea level rise)

I don't remember, was there a warning about sea level rising?

--------

Our planet buster is a prototype. So we can speed it up with crawlers without loosing minerals. this is in case of emergency. Lal is seeething towards us all the time. Relations may worsen any time.

Deirdre is counter-striking... !

Yang would sign truce and then even Treaty. If we continue, there may be a chance to sign Pact with Hive on our terms (submissive pact)

After we switch to power and maybe secure Hive as an ally we could try to get planetary governorship.

No warning of sea level rising yet.

Treaty with Yang? Good news!

Do we go for it now? I don't know whether Yang would even submit or not, knowing that he'll get a planet buster before we can stop him.

Peace with the Hive would let us solidify our gains, assure defence against a possible Peacekeeper attack and prepare for economic victory sooner rather than later. Our capacities are too much stretched for my liking these days, notably probe defence of sea bases, and it can become only worse if this war keeps going as we take more bases.

We can let Deirdre keep Lal busy and watch closely Believer activities.

Your decision? If you decide to postpone, know that we can take 2 Hive bases next turn and 4 the turn after.

I'm not sure. Making Hive even more weaker may be good for us.

Maybe someone else would also advise...

Yang will have PB in 2 turns, but we may have a chance to destroy it by air strike.

Zakharov's copters are doing a fine job. Yang is no longer #1 in military, it's Miriam now.

By définition, we can't destroy it before he'll have one turn to use it. :D

AI often rebases PB after making it, I mean rarely uses it immediately, that's my impression. Yang may also want to use it against Zakharov. Anyway it is risky to remain in vendetta while he has PB.

- Hive missile killed our F13 in Port Yang

- University copter killed a Hive probe team in Socialism Tunnels

- the Hive has lost Social Engineering Den to the University by drop troops!

- we have reached Monopole Magnets and have chosen Unified Field Theory

- the Hive has replaced its production of planet buster by hab complex ?!? PB has resumed in another base. Danger disappeared.

- the Hive is building shard planes! Danger soon.

Battle plans:

- it's the last occasion to stop this war against Yang. Without further notice, I'll start tomorrow the invasion of Hive mainland and it shall absorb all our resources, units and money, for a few turns. We'll get stuck in until the war ends.

- cruiser probe shall mindprobe Sea Hive

- Appache-13 must kill the AAA defender in Leader's Horde, then try to kill as many units in Labor network as possible

- drop troops will take Leader's Horde

- the Hive has only 2 probe teams left: one will be killed in Leader's Horde, the other is faw away in Fellowship City. No danger.

I have checked possibility for voting Planetary Governor, but outcome depends on factors, that are difficult to predict.

Lal gets support initially from Santiago and Miriam, 42 + 82 votes(?) After we improve relations with Santiago, that may be easier for us to secure additional votes.

Next turn, 2224 we will complete Cloning Vats. Do we switch to Power the same turn?

I took a look into state of Spartan Federation. They are the weakest faction, we have also like 24 more techs than Santiago. I think securing Pact should be easy.
