I hesitate to build seaformers, it seems land ones are still more useful (and less expensive). In exemple, I think turning those center tiles unused by any city into an 'energy park' for Morgan industries (no inefficiency), its crawlers would give a good boost in energy and research.

I imagine that Chairman Yang will soon be arrogantly stomping around with that small battalion (2 plasma garrison companies) in our territory while making periodic demands for one-sided "exchanges" of technology.

No stick, yes. We can only turtle and give what they could demand to gain some time. We have started to buff our defences with probe teams, I shall take other measures very soon.

What makes me upset is not some attack on our bases but penetrators killing our formers and crawlers as so many sitting ducks.

Vendetta with the Hive must be avoided at all costs for the next...15 years at least.

Interesting is, that Lal is all the time seething towards us, but he can talk every turn.

We might think about finding friends for a case of vendetta with Hive, but what I can see, no one likes our faction...

We have to choose between 5 research options (and unfortunately Planetary Economics still doesn't appear :mad:):

-Doctrine Initiative (but it seems impossible to beat Lal for the MCC)

- Advanced Subatomic Theory (leads to the Supercollider...later)

- Bio-engineering (the Longevity Vaccine, not very useful, and clean reactors, not much useful yet)

- Adaptive Doctrine (leads to AAA-tracking and Hunter-seeker Algorithm...later)

- Mind/Machine Interface (Cyborg factory, copters, drop pods. Nuff said!)

I'd say one of the last two, and MMA as the obvious choice for purely defensive preparations without incidence on the powergraph

At this point AA is worth 1300 research points for us. A tech that we cannot exchange or choose not to start maybe a vendetta cause of probe action.

Do we try to connect it to a network node at this time?
