Okay, I think the orders are ready. Comments?

 

Do we want to do something else with Force Godking such as move it back into our lands and upgrade a few axes to maces...or just leave it so they can't reinforce Nidaros from Halden without going through us?

BTW, four of our wounded elephants have promos to give. I plan on using them to heal up quicker. I plan on giving Mona Combat II and Formation for a super elephant vs. mounted units. Two others already have Shock as their second promo (necessary to take Larvik) so I'm going to give them Combat II, same with Timur who has Combat I only.

Oh, and we cost the Vikings 15 population points this past turn. Between them whipping out 5 points from Nidaros and Larvik and then taking Larvik which was then size 10 we should see a nice downward turn in their graphs next turn. Plus we cost them 385 hammers of units compared to the 150 they took from us, and we are standing on their iron and will be able to cut it this turn.

 

Overall a decent turn, if not exactly what we had in mind.

Turn played per orders this time. The turn came around quickly this time, just before I was about to head to bed. I was curious to see what the Vikings did this time, and it turned out to be nothing so I went ahead and played the turn.

 

Most of the attack force is healing up in Valhalla right now. I cut the iron with Merkabah, and also moved another maceman out there to further protect that stack. They still have only a few units that can hit it, and all would lose to what we have. A couple of turns of healing up and we can start moving again.

 

The Vikings spent their time whipping out walls in Nidaros, Uppsala and Halden (the Halden strike force would never take it now). I plan to bring a spear and an elephant up to hook up with Strike Force GK and then that one can descend on Nidaros too.
