Governor

Morgan Mines (Trevino Enterprises)

2144

Several turns build queue plans

After discussion at Terraforming Summit, the following build queues are planned for Trevino Enterprises:

Morgan Mines

- complete The Weather Paradigm

- former (hurry when possible)

- crawler (hurry when possible)

Morgan Metallurgical

- recycling tanks (hurry 2144, for 32 EC, full)

- recreation commons, accumulate 10 minerals, then hurry full when possible

- crawler (hurry when possible)

Morgan Biochemical

- recycling tanks (hurry 2144, for 28 EC, full)

- recreation commons, accumulate 10 minerals, then hurry full when possible

- crawler (hurry when possible)

One more thing, Morgan Energy Monopoly builds colony pod at the moment. Maybe the Governor of that base could be talked into switching to Recreation Commons, which would be hurried with help of some grant, and then colony pod could be continued to preferably establish a new base after PTS?

Morgan Mines could assign some funds for the mentioned above grant. I was thinking, The Corporation, and 2 other factions as being in better financial shape could together sponsor around 60 EC for rec Commons in M Energy Monopoly.

Trevino Enterprises declare 15 EC donated for that grant, if rec commons are built now in years around 2144-2148, as described above.

This will eliminate waste of assigning the doctor - monolith being not worked.

No news from Dolgo... I took executive decision with his former: moved from +2 minerals to +2 nutrients, and moved a citizen from 2-1-2 to 1-2-2 (it doesn't change the turns to next pop point while making less loss of minerals).

2144-report

- Scout 1 on its way S

- Scout 2 protects former

- Scouts 3 heals in M-Shipbuilding

- Scout 4 protects formers

- Research: Neural Grafting (2/10)

- Economy: 61 (+54)

- Energy allocation: 40/20/40

Bases:

- Morgan Shipbuilding: 2-6-14 / Transport Foil (3; 0 to ten) (10 turns to pop 3)

- Morgan Construction: 3-5-20 / Crawler (5; 2 to ten) (9 turns to pop 4)

- Morgan Industries: 3-5-22 / Crawler (0; 0 to ten) (5 turns to pop 4)

- Morgan Mines: 2-3-18 / the Weather Paradigm (56; 0 to ten) (1 to pop 3)

- Morgan Metallurgy: 1-2-20 / Rec Tanks (8; 0 to ten) (22 to pop 2)

- Morgan Biochemical: 1-2-10 / Rec Tanks (7; 0 to ten) (6 to pop 2)

- Morgan Transport: 4-5-20 / Crawler (0; 0 to ten) (3 to pop 4)

- Morgan Energy Monopoly: 1-2-10 / Colony Pod (12; 3 to ten) (20 to pop 3)

Notes:

- Crawler rushed at Morgan Transport for 44EC

- Crawler rushed at Morgan Industries for 31EC

- Though that would be deficit spending, it's possible to rush the 2 Rec Tanks for 60EC. Or we keep money for next crawlers (PTS and NA to get!).

Hell! Mart, you posted when I did the turn.

So here it is: Rec Tanks rushed!

Agreed to lend money for Morgan Energy Monopoly if he switches to Rec Commons but only for rushing when it'll reach the 10-mineral limit (in 2147). No money to waste, and one of Mart's bases will need Rec Commons soon after Rec Tanks.

- Rec Tanks rushed at Morgan Metallurgy for 32EC

- Rec Tanks rushed at Morgan Biochemical for 28EC

2145-start

- The Gaians are nearing completion of the Human Genome Project.

Question for the Weather Paradigm:

- do we still go and cash our 6 formers now (the current course of action)?

(alternative: cashing the AA to save crawlers. Mart is against, I am in favor. Without other POV, we keep the course of action)

We have time to talk till I play the turn tomorrow night.

we could cash in one AA. My preference is for technology, but using it now for WP has its benefits, so if no one else posts, we could cash AA this turn. 2 crawlers would be needed less, but a few more EC for hurry. A small cost overall.

2146-start

- A (invisible but we'll find it...and burn it) spore launcher has destroyed a road east of Morgan Metallurgy

- Gaia's Landing (Gaians) has built the Human Genome Project

- University has cancelled the Human Genome Project and replaced it by The Planetary Datalinks

- We have built The Weather Paradigm

- The Gaians have cancelled the Weather Paradigm and replaced it by the Citizen Defence Force

Research:

We've got Neural Grafting.

I had the choice between:

- Doctrine Initiative

- Polymorphic Software

- Bio-Engineering

- Field Modulation

- Synthetic Fossil Fuel

and I chose Intellectual Integrity (builder's choice)

We'll need some strategic thinking for next choice. if it can lead us to the Planetary Energy Grid, that would be a no-brainer I think. Otherwise, Maritime Control Center could give us some powerful 8-move cruiser probes that could spare us an expensive army and navy. There is also the need for Ecological Engineering and Enviro-economics. Or the beelining to Air Power. Or...

Governor Dolgorukov: the 'current' plan for your bases is to keep making those crawlers and then switch one to the Neural Amplifier in 4 turns...except if you decide otherwise (a trance former in Solarfex pehaps, for the region lacks exploitable tiles now).

...

I tried to see, if sensor in Morgan Metallurgy would detect aliens, but no. It is probably somewhere out of range, possibly also on isle of the deep in the bay.

Unity chopper could move to M Industries this turn, and then fly around in 2147 over tiles in question, then land in M. Metallurgy.

Yang could lend us 37 EC for payment 1 EC in 37 years!!!

However contacting him will only make his mood worse - he is in vendetta with Miriam. Do we want to join it?

I think I'll use the chopper to fly around, perhaps even crash-land near Morgan Metallurgy, and then the rover will move and destroy the Spore Launcher (hopefully).

With a range of 2 tiles, the sensor would have detected an Isle of the Deep 2 tiles away from this road.

EDIT: Even without vendetta, I wouldn't want to talk to Yang. We run Democracy. Better turtle, fortify and grow in power quietly. let them all forget that we exist!

It looks like Unity Lair prepares for amphibious assault on Believers (?)

--------

I think we have a chance to trade Int Integ. before we complete researching it. I hope by then CDF can be completed and AIs will not hold up the trade.

Hive will have synthetic fossil fuels in 2147. We might be able to trade it - attack 6 and important for b-line to Air Power.

I checked possibility to purchase bases from Lal and Yang.

UN Commerce Committee (size 3) - 481 EC

Sea Collective (size 1, sea base) - 621 EC

Relatively low costs, these are small bases with little number of units. Still it's income of approx. 9 turns or more for us.

48 EC is expensive, like 2 minerals go for 8 EC. I would use such hurrying only in needed cases, otherwise, you can get 2 minerals for 4 EC, not 8 EC.

I would say: save this turn. Morgan Energy Monopoly could get Recreation Commons rushed in 2147 and we would hurry M-Transport crawler too, much cheaper.

Spore launcher still not found. Maybe it is somewhere N to the destroyed road?

Ok, no rushing this turn. (not even the one at 34EC?)

There are still fungus tiles not explored (North or East) where the spore launcher can hide.

34 EC is not that expensive. I would say, anything above 40 EC is expensive. It is roughly:

5 mins x 2 EC = 10 EC

10 mins x 3 EC = 30 EC

total 40 EC, we pay up to 3 EC/mineral.

- Economy: 70 (+51)

- Morgan Construction: 3-6-18 / Crawler (0; 0 to ten) (7 turns to pop 4)

- Crawler rushed at M-Construction for 34EC. Good investment: I'll have a mine ready next turn and we need more formers now that they are really efficient.

2147-start

- Brother Lal has started the Planetary Transit System

- Chairman Yang has started the Command Nexus

- Gubernatorial election: Lal elected (86 votes) against Zakharov (51 votes). Everybody else abstained and so did we. Whatever, we couldn't change the outcome with 24 votes.

Am I right, that if we infiltrate Lal, we get access to all his governor infiltration data? Or maybe some of it... Or we have to just get pact to get all the data?

2147-report

- Scout 1 sent S

Still 8 hours to give me your courses of action.

Without them, I'll consider you approve the recent and current planning, and trust me enough to let me issue Executive Decisions (or Executive Orders if you prefer :D. Either way, it won't be pretty!)

All i would be concerned about is making sure you dont pay too much for a crawler. You have a mandate from the people to take action!!!

(actually, i just cant load the sav at the moment :D )

Yep, I won't rush crawlers beyond 40EC.

Otherwise, don't hesitate to give advice!

2147-report

- Economy: 33 (+53)

- Morgan Industries: 3-4-20 / Crawler (0; 0 to ten) (2 turns to pop 4)

- Morgan Energy Monopoly: 3-4-13 / Rec Commons (0; 0 to ten) (7 to pop 3)

Notes:

- Rec Commons rushed for 52EC at Morgan Energy Monopoly. Rationale: this is no gift, we get more energy and this city must spearhead the South-East development.

- Crawler rushed for 37EC at Morgan Industries. It will be consumed into the next SP.

2148-start

GRRRRRR!

- spore launcher destroyed road near Morgan Metallurgy

- sealurk destroyed the transport foil

- mindworm near Morgan Energy Monopoly (odds are 5 to 5): do I attack or wait and upgrade defender to Trance-patrol for 10EC or Empath-trance for 20EC(my preference)?

- Rushing former in Morgan Mines would cost 13EC

- No other spending except for Rec Commons in the North-West. It's not urgent but we can take back these cities capacities to build formers/crawlers.
