A new preview of Civilization V has surfaced, this time from the Italian gaming magazine Giochi per il mio Computer ("Games for my computer"). The article is based on the press visit that a bunch of international press had to the Firaxis offices a a few weeks ago, so much of the info reported is similar to what has been reported previously. However, the article contains some juicy new pieces of information as well, in addition to some new images, mostly artwork.
The article confirms that Civ5 will be for the PC, there will be no console ports. It also confirms tha the User Interface has been removed from pretty much all images released so far as the final version is not yet in place. The author (Paolo Paglianti) comments that the UI that is there right now has an art-deco style that reminds him of Bioshock and the movie Metropolis, and according to him it looks much better than the "cartoony" look of Civ4.
On the leaders in the game, the article notes that Elizabeth's style of play will be to very expansive, whereas Gandhi will focus on building large, populous cities. The article notably also reveals some of the (unique) units and new civs in the game. A translation of one of the insets:

We only managed to see the Ancient part of Civ5, up until the Alexandrian period, but thanks to a huge poster with all the units of the game we were able to look at the units that will be available in subsequent eras. Among these are the inevitable Legions [of Rome], the Immortals of Persia, [Japanese] Samurai, Siamese Elephants, (Ottoman) Janissaries, Landsknechts, different types of bombers, fighters like the ultra modern F-22 and even mech units of the close future.

(Note: the last bit likely just refers to Mechanized Infantry, either me or the original author screwed up the translation there. That, or Civ5 brings us Giant Death Robots!)
Note that the Siamese and Persian presence had not previously been confirmed, bringing the total number announced civilizations to 19!
The article comes with some new artwork of various icons in the game, showing off what looks like the Big Ben, Cristo Redentor, a Samurai and a destroyer or similar modern naval unit. You can find these images in the scans of the article available from this Italian Civ5 blog. (Note: all info is all based on my own rusty knowledge of Italian, if an actual Italian speaker can confirm/correct it or provide additional details, please don't hesitate to do so!)

Furthermore for "mech units of the closer future" the author means robot infantry, like exoskeleton in Avatar, I suppose...
In this article is clear the hex system movement:
1) one hex- one unit
2) to avoid "15-game effect" two adiacent units can exchange their respective position
