Actually, it's been soon two years and no claim. I have only got two claims the last few decades, even though most of my chancellors have been 20 or above. It's pure lack of luck, as I've got several in a short amount of time earlier.

Almost got to 1453 now. My queen is 45, her heir is awesome and his heir is the heir to not only Denmark-Lithuania-Poland, but also to the kingdom of Afrika! Too bad the game will end long before that happens...

I'd give my right arm for a game as good as CK2 that lasted from 4000BC through to futuristic times......

Political map. Note HRE is in a civil war. So am I, against a duke in Poland.


Religious map. Note Sweden is Orthodox, but haven't converted yet.


Cultural map. Note how widespread German has become. And Swedish! Also, to an extent Danish.

Who's next?

I play on the fastest setting and pause a lot. My rig is less than half a year old too, so that helps. An i7, 16 GB, HD 6870 rig. A year takes perhaps 1-2 minutes, tops if I don't pause much.

As for who's next, dunno. I am still in the beta, so I'm not sure if I will be making another aar right now. Stuff to be done both in there and in real life.

Sounds like my luck too. Despite chancellors with very high dip the claims come very slowly.
