Given't that I probably can't run anything presented on it, no. :(
E3 seems to be mainly about console gaming. I do hope to get some PC gaming news as well. The big things I'm waiting for on PC are Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2. Blizz won't be talking about those at E3 though. They'll save that goodiness for BlizzCon.
My boss is going. And I was the one who told him we should be there (meaning me). :(
LOL... d'oh. :(
That happens a lot in the military. Two TDYs come down... one somewhere great and on to the sandbox. Boss always goes to the higher paying, less gunfire trip.
I was psyched to follow E3 next week. Instead, on Tuesday through Thursday I will be on another business trip. So much for spending all my free time on the net grabbing all the news.
Oh well... I'll read all about it next Friday.
I kinda care ;)
But it's way too mainstream for me, even now it's scaled down in size/glitz; and 'consolecentric' - so not really on my radar, but i keep an ear out and read up on what things have been shown and talked about.
I rather like IGN's list of anticipated games:
http://pc.ign.com/articles/987/987055p1.html
Splinter Cell Conviction might be interesting, I kinda like that series for action games. Mafia 2 is definitely interesting, the original was beautiful and immersive. Mass Effect 2 is the game I perhaps anticipate the most, the original ME definitely made my list of all-time favorites. And BioShock 2 really has great potential, the first one was a great game despite some surprising flaws.
I haven't played a Splinter Cell game since the original but I think I'd really like to give this one a try. Of course if it is PS3 exclusive... $$$ :(
Now that I broke my evil WoW habit I'm anxious to go back and play all the great games I missed. I never played Mass Effect and BioShock but really want to knock both of them out before the sequels are released.
I just started up Fable 2 and hopefully I'll be finishing that up in the next couple weeks.
Console gaming has come along way, there are some great titles out there :b:
So don't feel sad to have had WoW keep you out the loop Big Dork, you can now go back and revist the best without wasting time and money on the also-rans. Gaming behind the curve means you can cherry pick the best games without hype+adsvertising tricking you :b:
And the other plus of waiting a year or three... games are cheaper. :D
IGN has HoI3 listed as one of the most anticipated games on E3.:b:

Or 10, as in El Cid's case.:cute:
I'm not gonna be there, so no. I don't care.
Lots of interesting news will come out from it zack, aren't you interested in that?

E3 is older than Zack
Not really, I'm pretty content with what I have right now video game wise.

Unless CIV V is in E3 I won't care too much actually.

That is disturbing news...
Unless CIV V is in E3 I won't care too much actually.

A good write up of Microsoft's showings by one of the guys at eat-sleep-game (http://www.eat-sleep-game.com/news/2009/06/01/e3-musings-day-zero/#more-1111)
Eat-Sleep-Game is one of the newer websites I've been visiting. I stumbled across their weekly podcast, Rebel FM, a month or so ago and have been listening to it ever since. If you are interested in gaming I recommend giving it a listen.
