6 Energy from Forests

Whoah, is something wrong with my game? I'm getting 6 energy from Forests without any fancy buildings or techs.

I'm playing as Morgan and have +4 Economy Social Rating

There is some event that multiplies energy in all squares by a certain amount. It's a pretty easy to miss one, and I've sometimes noticed sudden energy increases along these lines when playing as well.

Yes, it's definitely the "solar flares" random event, which lasts just one turn. Looking at your save file, energy reading go back to normal the next turn.
