View Full Version : Looking for Hive replacement for SMAX PBEM
In my first CMN game, one of the players is on a beach with limited net access and no SMAC.
I saw the position 3 years ago in 2125 when I reconstituted the game. The position is competitive.
The game is being played on the modified Vets map.
There are 4 human factions and 3 AIs. The factions are the SMAC 7.
Copter and planetbuster chassis have been disabled.
Two of the other 3 players are members of this forum: zsozso and St Jon.
Also the game is still young enough to give a new player the chance to shape their own destiny. None of us have met and we are all in the development and expansion phase. Two really good players , plus me :unworthy:, and Hive seem to be doing pretty well on the PG.
I'm interested. Where do I sign up?

zsozso will then be able to send you the save. I'll PM you the password through this site.
The only issue is that we have one player, mmontgomery, who hasn't registered yet.
I don't see any reason why he wouldn't register here, but if he won't, we'll need to get you registered on 'poly (I tried searching for pcmsia on 'poly but I didn't find anyone; are you registered under a different name?).

I'm a pretty active CMN. The previous player posted at 'poly that he was leaving 5 games.
In the ordinary course of things it might have taken awhile to fill the spot. So I am very grateful for your interest.

The link is to the new TTT. As long as zsozso notices that he is supposed to resend the turn (he had sent it to florin79c, we're OK.
zsozso has posted in the TTT that he emailed 2128 to pcmsia.
pcmsia, if you have problems opening the save, send me a private message. If you didn't receive the save from zsozso, please post here.
After you've played your turn and sent the save to St Jon, please post in the TTT that you've sent it.
I've had my turn and have sent the save to St Jon. vyeh, what is your email add? I wanted to cc the map to you. And by the way, why is my graphic set based on SMAX when all our factions are SMAC?
It is a SMAX game, which happens to use the original SMAC 7. I don't need to see the save. Unless there is a reason you want me to look at it. (You can explain any reason by PMing me.)
If the colors aren't right, you need to start a game with the factions in the same order as on the first page of the TTT. Once you've made planetfall, you can quit. This resets the .ini file.
It is best to indicate the year on the TTT, e.g. "2129 to St Jon."
